WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:  
• Prospecting New Clients: Actively identify and engage with potential clients to discuss risk management and financial goals. Conduct regular reviews to empower clients to make informed financial decisions.  
• Building Community Relationships: Cultivate strong ties within the community to enhance your agency’s visibility and generate new business opportunities that drive sales and growth.  
• Developing Business and Marketing Plans: Create and execute effective business, operational, and marketing strategies that foster the sustainability and growth of Canadian communities.  
• Team Development and Leadership: Recruit and mentor employees, manage performance, support their development, and help achieve agency goals.  
• Maintaining Compliance: Ensure the maintenance of required licenses and adherence to ethical standards, corporate policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  
• Experience: 3–5 years of management experience in the insurance industry or related fields.  
• Education: Post-secondary education in a related field.  
• Licenses: A Life Insurance license and a General Insurance license are required. A Mutual Funds license is an asset.  
• Professional Designations: Completion or progress toward certifications such as CFP, CLU, CHFC, or an accredited Financial Planning designation.  

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  
• Ability to work away from the office regularly, meeting with clients and community members.  
• Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.  
• Capacity to provide support to clients experiencing personal or financial loss, requiring a high degree of confidentiality.  
• Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check.
