HR, Culture & Talent Specialist

We are searching for a passionate and dynamic individual to join a multifaceted organization spanning landscaping, media, construction, retail, and hospitality as an HR, Culture & Talent Specialist to champion the company’s culture and HR functions. This isn’t just about policies—it’s about creating an environment where every team member feels valued, heard, and empowered to thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Recruitment & Selection: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process to attract top talent.
• Health & Safety: Lead H&S programs, including compliance, risk assessments, WSIB claims, and training.
• Team Member Support: Handle sensitive matters with discretion, respect, and confidentiality.
• Conflict Resolution: Lead challenging conversations and offer guidance to managers.
• Training & Development: Ensure operational and safety training for all team members.
• Culture Leadership: Initiate and facilitate activities that drive company culture and collaboration.
Position Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in HR or a related field (CHRP/CHRL designation considered an asset).
• 3+ years of HR experience, including expertise in health and safety.
• Strong understanding of OHSA, ESA, AODA, and other workplace legislation.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and managing sensitive documentation.
• A proactive, energetic, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for team building and creating positive, productive work environments.
