THE JOB SHOPPE IS HIRING A GENERAL LABOURER FOR OUR CLIENT IN THE WINDSOR AREA

$17.20/hour
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (ASSIGNMENT DUTIES):
• Transport hazardous materials related to car battery production (adherence to safety protocols and PPE required)
• Pack and unpack warehouse items
• Load and unload trucks, moving products
• Perform quality inspection
• Work closely with forklift safety personnel
• Complete associated paperwork
• Ensure safety protocols are followed
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Transition between indoor and outdoor areas in a clean, climate-controlled facility with some ongoing construction
• Sit, walk, squat, bend, reach, and use both hands frequently throughout the shift
• Use stairs as needed
REQUIRED PPE ITEMS:
• CSA SD approved safety shoes
• Orange Safety Vest
