<p><strong>The Job Shoppe is hiring Mold Surfacers (Cimatron) to join our team in Windsor, Ontario.</strong> Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of precision tooling and molds for the plastic injection molding industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company where you'll work on complex mold designs using industry-leading software.</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Windsor, Ontario</p>
<p><strong>Wage:</strong> $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience</p>
<p><strong>Start Date:</strong> Hiring immediately</p>
<p><strong>Position Type:</strong> Full-Time, On-going (Must be available to work 40 hrs weekly plus overtime)</p>
<p><strong>Shifts:</strong><br>
Day Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm<br>
Saturday overtime as required (typically up to 5 hours)<br>
Additional overtime based on production requirements</p>
<h3>What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities)</h3>
<p>As a Mold Surfacer, you will create and modify precision mold surfaces used in the production of plastic injection molds while ensuring all tooling meets customer specifications and quality standards.</p>
<p>Responsibilities may include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Create and modify mold surfaces using Cimatron software
<li>Develop surface models for precision tooling components
<li>Perform mold feasibility analysis
<li>Understand and apply lifter and slide travel requirements
<li>Match inserts and verify proper fit
<li>Complete parting line (P/L) runoff analysis
<li>Collaborate with engineering, machining, and tooling teams
<li>Maintain accurate documentation and revision control
<li>Follow all safety and quality standards
</ul>
<h3>Position Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3 years of mold surfacing experience
<li>Experience using Cimatron software
<li>Strong understanding of plastic injection mold construction
<li>Experience with lifter and slide travel
<li>Knowledge of mold feasibility
<li>Experience matching inserts
<li>Understanding of parting line runoff
<li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models
<li>Strong attention to detail
<li>Reliable transportation
